Universal Orlando FAQ

Much like with the mouse house down the road, anytime you can go is a good time.  Prices and wait times vary with the seasons, but even with the prediction charts, it is hard to say when the best time is to go so just go when it suits you.  Summers are hot, but then again, winters can be very cold.  School breaks are notoriously busy.  Holidays may be dead one year, but packed the next.  Except Christmas, which will always be busy.

This depends on whether this is a once in a lifetime trip or if you plan on coming back in the future.  Your physical condition and childrens' needs should also be considered.  Like any other theme park, you will be on your feet a very long time.  If you're able to extend your stay, you can break it up by doing half a park per day.  Lines at Epic Universe can be especially long so expect to spend lots of time standing in line.

Yes, but there are some restrictions. Specifically, light snacks and up to 2L of water per person. What qualifies as a light snack is up to security at the gates, but they have traditionally allowed sandwiches through. Just keep in mind, nothing that requires heating or refrigeration will be allowed in (except for medical purposes).

It's Florida, so expect rain at least once per day. Nearly every gift shop in the parks sells ponchos, but be prepared to fork out some money.  Expect to pay $10-$14 each in the parks.  Order some on Amazon before your trip or grab some locally before entering the parks.  If you keep an eye on the weather radar, you can try to plan a long indoor queue during the rain. Folding umbrellas are also allowed.

That's a deeply personal question.  We typically visit both when we go down, but that can get expensive.  Book a complementary 30-minute consultation with us so we can provide you with a better answer before you book Disney and tell your little one they can start practicing their Harry Potter spells.

Unfortunately not.  This is typically the only reason we recommend park-to-park tickets when visiting Universal. Solid planning on their part, huh?

Absolutely! There's a reason it is so busy and they're adding on to the park! Don't believe everything you see on TikTok though.

Helios.  Hands down.  But it's pricey!  If you're on a budget, skip it and stay off property.  When booking with us, you can still get early admission tickets even if you aren't staying on property!

Only when it makes sense for you. Book a complementary 30-minute consultation with us so we can make an appropriate recommendation for your specific situation and goals.
